TERMS & POLICIES

Terms & Policies

01

Terms

General terms for product purchase, deployment, use, software licensing and user responsibility.

1. Scope and acceptance

By purchasing, leasing, trialling, deploying, operating or connecting RAVOS products and services you confirm that you have read and accept this policy together with the relevant product manual, quotation, purchase contract, deployment plan and acceptance documents. Where a specific contract differs from this page, the signed contract prevails.

2. Products and services

Products include, but are not limited to, Yunchi S2, Fengxing M3, the modular chassis, the Embodied AI Platform, the Mobile Manipulation Robot, the Material Handling Exoskeleton, the Dedicated Trailer, the Industrial Scanner and their parts. Services include software licensing, cloud scheduling, interface services, site surveys, deployment and integration, training, repair and operational support.

3. Site and deployment responsibilities

  • You must provide complete and accurate information about the site, network, payloads, routes, task frequency and system interfaces.
  • Before regular operation, complete map building, speed-limit zones, geofencing, and tests of the emergency stop, collision avoidance, fall protection, charging position and remote takeover.
  • Elevators, access control, turnstiles, networks, power and fire safety must meet the project plan and local regulations.
  • When the site, routes or system interfaces change, reassess and revalidate; do not reuse the previous configuration unchanged.

4. Safe use and prohibited actions

  • Only trained or authorised personnel may operate, maintain or commission the equipment.
  • Do not remove, bypass or modify the emergency stop, safety edges, speed limits, brakes, battery protection or access control.
  • Do not overload the machine, carry people, tow unapproved equipment or operate beyond its ingress protection, temperature, humidity and slope ratings.
  • Do not use the products for weapons, transporting dangerous goods, unlawful surveillance, infringing personal rights or any other illegal purpose.
  • If you notice unusual noise or smell, a loose structure, a swollen battery, water ingress, sensor faults or brake failure, stop the machine immediately and contact service staff.

5. Software, Interfaces and Intellectual Property

Intellectual property in the product software, firmware, algorithms, documentation, trademarks, structural designs and interface material belongs to RAVOS or the rightful owner. You receive only the rights of use agreed in the contract and may not reverse engineer, bypass licensing, copy for resale or publish unauthorised material. Custom development must not defeat the safety limits, and the developer carries the risk arising from their own programs, models, data and control strategies.

02

After-sales Terms

Warranty period, service process, what free repair covers, paid repair and shipping responsibility.

1. Warranty period

The warranty period for the standard machine and its accessories runs from the date you take delivery; the exact term is stated in the purchase contract, warranty card or product page. Replaced or repaired parts do not restart the machine's warranty: approved replacements carry the remaining term or the period stated in the repair documents. Products outside warranty can still be inspected, repaired and supported for a fee.

2. Conditions for warranty service

When requesting service, provide the proof of purchase, model, serial number, software version, time of the fault, task number, site conditions, photos or video and device logs. Do not open the machine or ship the battery without confirmation. RAVOS may diagnose remotely first and then arrange a return, a replacement part or an on-site visit.

3. What the free warranty does not cover

  • An expired warranty, or no valid proof of purchase, serial number or service record.
  • Damage from drops, impact, crushing, liquid ingress, fire, lightning, corrosion, dust or metal particles.
  • Overloading, carrying people, forced towing, exceeding slope limits, harsh surfaces, strong electromagnetic interference or operating outside the specified environment.
  • Using batteries, chargers, wheels, harnesses, controllers, payloads or towing equipment that are not original or approved.
  • Opening the machine or enclosure, rewiring, soldering, reflashing firmware, changing safety parameters or repairing and replacing parts without written permission.
  • Installing, charging, storing, transporting or maintaining the product against the manual, or continuing to run it when components are already abnormal, worn or loose.
  • Compatibility, collision, loss-of-control and data problems caused by third-party systems, networks, elevators, access control, applications or custom control programs.
  • Consumables and normal wear, including tyres, castors, brake parts, bumpers, seals, cosmetic parts and other wear items named in the contract.

4. Inspection, repair and costs

When the product reaches the service point we inspect its appearance, logs, functions and components. If the fault is a quality defect, RAVOS covers reasonable inspection, materials, labour and return shipping; if it is not covered, we quote a paid repair and you may choose to repair or have the unit returned. On-site service may incur travel, labour, transport and special-equipment costs, quoted in advance.

5. Data, batteries and shipping

  • Repair, part replacement or a factory reset can erase maps, tasks, accounts and logs; back up in advance and revoke sensitive system authorisations.
  • Before shipping, power the machine down, secure moving parts, use reliable packaging and remove dangerous goods or special attachments as instructed.
  • Do not ship batteries that are badly deformed, leaking, swollen, short-circuited or water-damaged; contact service staff and handle them as dangerous goods.
  • If the product is not shipped within the agreed period after the service is confirmed, the request may need to be reassessed.

Privacy Terms

How website access logs, local preferences, and information provided through direct contact are handled.

1. Who processes your information

Your information is processed by RAVOS Robotics Group Co., Ltd. To access, correct or delete it, email yangyu@ravosrobot.cn, or call 13305199188

2. Website Access Logs

Our servers may record the visiting IP address, time, request URL, browser user agent and response status for security, troubleshooting and stability analysis. Logs are not used for advertising profiles and are deleted automatically after 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.

3. Local preferences

The site may store your language preference in the browser. It does not store names, phone numbers, email addresses, purchase enquiries or supplier documents, and the first release uses no analytics, ad tracking or non-essential cookies.

4. Telephone and Email

When you call or email us, we process the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry, move a cooperation forward or provide after-sales service, and keep it only as long as that purpose and our legal obligations require.

5. Sharing and cross-border transfer

We do not sell visitor information. Where email, hosting, security or maintenance providers process information on our behalf, we limit the purpose and the access they receive; if a transfer abroad requires separate notice or consent under the law, we will follow that procedure.

6. Your rights

Using the contact details above you can request access to, a copy of, correction of or deletion of your information, or withdraw consent to processing. We act on verified requests as the law requires.

7. Policy updates

This policy will be updated when website functions or legal requirements change. Current effective date: 2026/9/8.

Disclaimer

Risk boundaries around environmental change, third-party systems, developer mode, networks and events beyond our control.

1. Limits of what the product can do

A robot's performance is affected by lighting, reflections, transparent objects, rain and snow, dust, ground friction, slopes, crowds, networks, satellite signals and electromagnetic interference. Specifications come from defined test conditions and do not guarantee the same result everywhere. A robot does not replace on-site safety management and human judgement.

2. Third-party systems and infrastructure

Where third-party elevators, access control, networks, maps, cloud services, operating systems, application interfaces, charging facilities or payload equipment fail, change, throttle or lose compatibility, RAVOS is not liable beyond its own responsibility under the law, but will help diagnose and recover.

3. Custom development and developer mode

Once developer interfaces are enabled or control logic, custom models or third-party hardware are introduced, the developer must independently test simulation, limits, emergency stop, collision, disconnection and fault recovery. Damage caused by their own code, wrong parameters, control oscillation, out-of-range motion, collision, falls or a bypassed safety mechanism is the responsibility of the party that made the change.

4. Network and service continuity

Cloud features may be unavailable for short periods because of network fluctuation, maintenance and upgrades, carrier faults, attack mitigation or events beyond our control. Critical operations should have local safety policies, manual takeover, contingency routes and offline procedures. RAVOS maintains the service to reasonable commercial standards but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

5. Limitation of Liability and Force Majeure

To the extent the law allows, RAVOS is not liable for indirect loss, business interruption, lost expected profit or data loss caused by misuse, missed maintenance, site changes, third-party actions or events beyond our control. Nothing here excludes liability the law does not allow to be excluded, and any written agreement between the parties prevails.

6. Policy updates and contact

RAVOS may update these policies as the law, products and services change, publishing the version and effective date on this website, and will give reasonable notice of material changes. For questions about the terms, privacy, warranty or safe use, contact us through the Purchase & Cooperation or Customer Support pages.
